Appearance:

Alex stands at five foot three inches, and has a slightly chubby build. She is usually wearing light blue shirts and hoodies, and jeans that bag at the ends. She is shown to be able-bodied enough to travel, despite her occasional breakdowns and panic attacks. She bras about her being able to lift more than her own weight; this is yet to be seen.

Personality:

Alex is a stubborn, immature young woman, but is able to sense tension. She distrusts Shane, and anyone who tries to start a power struggle. She believes that as long as someone with a clear mind leads the group, that they will survive. She is close to Daryl Dixon, but doesn't trust his older brother, Merle. In situations where her canine companion, Woody, is in danger, she goes into a fit of anxiety and rage, desperate to keep her dog alive. When questioned by Rick about her dog, she says, "He isn't my dog; he's my brother. No pne touches him, no one. No one eats him either. YOU wouldn't eat your wife or son."

Alex's relationship with her dog and Daryl manages to keep her sane. She looks up to Daryl as an older brother, and is usually seen with him. However, Daryl teases Alex, calling her "the annoying little sister he never had."

Relationships~

Rick Grimes

Rick and Alex rarely interact; tge few times they do is during a scout mission or fighting off walkers. She however, has complete trust in his ability to lead their group. She usually backs his decisions, despite her being young. He respects her need to have her companion Woody.

Lori Grimes

Alex and Lori are close, despite her distaste for Shane. Alex often helps Lori with her duties, and is devastated when Lori does not survive the attack on the prison. The two are often talking, about their past and what they think will happen for their futures.

Carl Grimes

Carl and Alex often play together, despite her being older than him. Alex enjoys playing tag with Carl, and shows her immaturity through these playtimes.

Daryl Dixon

Alex is usually seen by Daryl's side, and is being taught survival skills by him. He was yhe first to suggest they kill her dog for food; thus causing Alex to go into a panic attack and beg Rick and the others to leave Woody alone. Though this hurts Daryl and Alex's friendship, she eventually forgives him and does her best to help.

Parents deaths~

Alex and her parents are a typical suburban family, and enjoy a quiet life. However, on Alex's way home, she is chased by a "crazy sick bastard", and escapes. At home, Alex tells her parents of her encounter, who are shocked anf upset about it. Her mother telephones the police, who are busy dealing with pyschos to try and answer her call. The family of three go to sleep that night, and Alex is uneasy. She lays awake in bed, with her German shepherd, Woody, laying on her legs. Just as Alex starts to sleep, a blood curdling scream wakes her up. Coming out of her room, she is horrified to see a rotting corpse attack her father. He yells for ex and her mother to run, before getting overwhelmed and torn apart by walkers.

Seeing that the staircase is getting swarmed, Su takes her daughter to the window. After several failed attempts, Su gives up and shoves Alex out the window, causing her to break her ankle. Alex is rolling in pain on the grass, calling for her mother to jump. Before Su can jump, her father (now a walker) sinks his teeth into her neck, and pulls her back inside. Upset and horrified, Alex hobbles away, tears streaming down her cheeks and her ankle swelling.

Withthe group~

It is stated thst Daryl and Merle had found Alex unconsious in the grass, and decided to take her. At their camp, she is introduced to everyone, and soon settles in, befriending Carl and Sophia. She helps the group by hunting with Daryl, (never merle) and usually kills a squirrel or two, whom she saves for Woody.
